Belgrade's city public transport (buses, trams, trolleybuses and BG Train) has been free for all passengers since 1 January 2025—no tickets, no validation; you just get on.

Serbia's currency is the Serbian dinar (RSD). If an ATM offers to withdraw in EUR or to 'convert' for you, decline the conversion and take dinars at your bank's rate (dynamic currency conversion is usually worse).

Exchange money at official exchange offices rather than at the airport for better rates, and keep small dinar notes/coins for cafés and bakeries.
