The key trick: preload everything in the official My TRS Claim (web/app) to generate a QR code, then scan it at the airport TRS counter to save a lot of time. Make sure your purchase is A$300+ from the same business (same ABN), bought within 60 days of departure, and keep the original tax invoices. If you must check the item (oversized or liquids), you need it verified before check-in—otherwise you can’t claim.
